Since you asked…

I’ve had a couple of people ask me how much I’ve made so far from sales of Devotions for Disciples: Our Father, you know, since I mentioned that I’d be funding my return mission trip to Cuba with the royalties.  Well, since you asked:  Amazon reports that I have earned $33.44 so far.  That isn’t the most accurate, I’m sure, since Amazon tends to take a while to report numbers back to me.  I happen to know for certain that I’ve sold more books than this because I sold that many in pre-sales.  I’ve also made $30 from sales to my church family at Christ Fellowship of Tampa, back at the Next Steps table in the lobby.  That money immediately went into the Cuba mission fund at the church office.

Now, since some of you have asked how much the trip costs overall, let me address that one too.  It’s going to cost each individual going on the trip about $1200 total, which includes our visa fee and plane tickets.  A good portion of this has already been turned in by each of us, but we still have until September before we leave on our trip.

I’m not asking for money, but if you just read this and wondered how you can give, I’d love to point you in the right direction.  Just email me and I’ll let you know how you can support the mission financially.  If you want to support the mission through the purchase of Devotions for Disciples: Our Father, just click on the book title, and you’ll be taken to the bookstore.  Thank you for your time and support.
